My name is Matt and I am the owner and creator of award winning studio BLAST fit. Sport and fitness has been apart of my life from a young age. I started boxing at 14, later joined an army for couple of years and became a personal trainer upon leaving.
Opened BlastFit in 2021 based on my own concepts of 20 years of personal training and boxing experience.

Matthew Hirst is a highly experienced fitness coach and the founder of BLAST Fit, a dynamic training space in Ealing that combines boxing, strength, and conditioning in a supportive, community-driven environment. Matthew has trained hundreds of personal trainers as a tutor, sharing his expertise and passion for safe, effective, and results-driven fitness.
Previously, he served as the Lead Coach at the exclusive Chelsea Harbour Club, where he worked with high-profile clients, honing his ability to deliver bespoke training programs that transform both body and mind.
At BLAST Fit, Matthew focuses on helping clients of all ages and abilities boost energy, improve mobility, gain strength, and feel younger, stronger, and more confident. His sessions—whether small group PT, boxing, or strength training—blend challenge with encouragement, empowering people to achieve their goals.
Beyond coaching, Matthew is committed to creating spaces and programs that support both physical and mental wellbeing, including charity fitness events and community initiatives.

Amateur Boxing & Fitness Coach

After falling in love with boxing, I transitioned from the corporate world into the fitness industry. Now being a fully qualified PT & Boxing Coach, my passion is sharing my knowledge and expertise with others.
As Head Amateur Boxing Coach at Blast Fit, I work closely with children aged 5 upwards, challenging them to be the best they can be in all aspects of their lives. I also have a keen interest in working with women, aiming to defy the limits set on us! With an understanding of exercise for both pre and post-natal women, we can work to stay fit during pregnancy and to shift that stubborn weight following giving birth with injury prevention being a prime focus.

Boxing Coach (begginers to advanced)
Michael Fitzgibbon
Hello, I’m Michael. I am a qualified England boxing coach, working with amateur boxers and children. I am also a former, unlicensed boxer with 10 years experience. I have played football at both town and county level, achieving success in National Cups as well as local and county competitions.
I run fitness and technical boxing classes for men and women at various levels. My goal is to strike a good balance between training and fun, pushing you to achieve your fitness goals. My classes are designed to make you work harder whilst still enjoying them, making it feel less like exercise. I have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of fitness and diet so I can also assist with working out an eating plan that will compliment your fitness goals.
As well as coaching, I am a father of 3 and a electrician by trade so I fully understand the challenges that finding a balance between work, family life, diet and exercise can bring. I offer classes at various times throughout weekday evenings and weekends and also offer personal training sessions, enabling you to train alongside your life commitments and giving you the best possible chance of success.

I got into fitness as I needed discipline after getting into some healthy habits. I’ve been boxing since I was 20, won amateur London title, and have turned professional making my debut in May 2024. I believe I can build other’s belief, improve their confidence, and help them to become stronger, fitter, leaner, and ultimately achieve their goals. I consider boxing and calistehnics areas of expertise, although I’m knowledgable in weight loss and strength building as well.
Three areas I would consider expertise would be: nutrition (I’m a level 3 qualified nutritionist ), boxing (I love teaching the technical side of boxing, and weight training, helping people to gain strength, lose weight, and build muscle.

Hi I'm Kean. I am a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer. My fitness journey started with my love for sport, especially Football. I have represented my nation, Grenada, at the National level for U15 -U21 and continue to push my limits in the industry. This experience not only honed my athletic skills but also instilled in me a relentless drive to push boundaries and achieve excellence.
With hands-on experience at TheGymGroup, Blastfit, and Buzz Gym, I've designed and delivered tailored training sessions that cater to diverse fitness levels. Additionally, coaching large groups of young athele has refined my ability to motivate and inspire individuals in both group and one-on-one settings.
My mission is clear: to guide individuals toward their fitness aspirations using the most effective and evidence-based methods available. I'm particularly passionate about assisting new gym goers in their pursuit to improve their fitness and lifestyle habits.
